Chicken with Brown Rice Bowl

ingredients
- 2 organic chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 cups cooked organic brown rice
- 2 tablespoons organic soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon organic sesame oil
- 2 cloves organic garlic, minced
- 1 organic bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 organic carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 cup organic broccoli florets
- 1 cup organic snap peas or snow peas
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Organic sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
steps to follow
- Heat organic sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced organic garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add thinly sliced organic chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add thinly sliced organic bell pepper, organic carrot, organic broccoli florets, and organic snap peas or snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together organic soy sauce or tamari with a splash of water. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetable mixture in the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Add cooked organic brown rice to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
- Season the stir-fry with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Garnish the chicken and vegetable stir-fry with chopped organic green onions and a sprinkle of organic sesame seeds.
- Serve the stir-fry hot over cooked organic brown rice.
